• I am evaluating wPDFControl and require the ability to draw images with with transparent qualities that will overlap other objects drawn on the device context. The underlying objects should remain visible behind the transparent portions of an image.

The application in question currently uses the Windows GDI+ API to produce its output directly to a device context. Transparent, overlapping images output correctly to the monitor, physical printers and Adobe Acrobat Distiller.

wPDFControl's device context appears to not respect the transparent pixels in the image. I recall that the outdated Adobe PDF Writer was incapable of properly rendering these transparent images. Is this also the case with wPDFControl?

    Hi,

Sorry, there is no transparency of images in the PDF engine.

I would be grateful if you send us some metafiles - I will put them in the testing cue so this feature can be added to a future versions.
