Hi,

We can start with this when our compiler manufacturer (CodeGear) provides a 64 bit compiler. Currently it is not available.

Hi,
Any news on a 64-bit binary?
This is currently stopping us from going ahead with integrating WPViewPDF.
edit:
Just read up on Codegear that their 64bit Commodore release is "probably" not going to see the light during 2009.I guess this means a 64bit version of WPViewPDF is not happening this year, right?

Actually got it to work on 64bit OS by changing the assembly using the WPViewPDF into beeing built targeting x86 and not "Any CPU".

Hi,
Thanks for the hint. This is why we include the source code of the interface parts.

Any news on the 64bit .dll compilation?
Unfortunately .net isn't an option for us so we need a native compiled 64bit dll.
(Same goes for wRTF2PDF :-))
Thanks.

What, then, is the bottom line here? Well, to get right to the point (finally!) – with some major compiler work being done on the new backend and the 64-bit compiler, this seems like a good time to “make a move” and transition to this new compiler architecture. We expect the 64-bit version of Delphi to be ready in mid-2010. Because the compiler is the first step in a complete 64-bit product, we are planning to release a preview of the 64-bit compiler in mid-2009 so that those of you who are extremely eager to see a 64-bit Delphi can get started early.
This is just very painful especially when you have native 64bit operating system like Windows Server 2008.
