PDFs Compressed With Acrobat Rendering Incorrectly

    Hi,

    We have a client who wants to use the compression option in Acrobat. However, the resulting PDFs do not display correctly in the WPViewPDF control. They all display as a blank page with a border around it and just the letters "lm0". I know there are several features of the PDF file format that the control does not support (transparency, indexed color schemes), but I wanted to get confirmation of whether using the Acrobat compression should or shouldn't work or if there was a setting in Acrobat that would allow it to work.

    Hello,

    Don't know what changes Acrobat made here. In general compressed files are not a problem, also compressed XREF tables and object lists. But WPViewPDF does not do JBIG compressed images (Edit: Since V3.02.2 it can use a plugin for decoding Jbig2Decode).
