Speech Recognition (Dragon Naturally Speaking)

    Hello,

    some of our customers use the speech recognition software "Dragon
    Naturally Speaking" (DNS). This software is able to control text inside
    other applications (i.e. Windows Edit-Controls).

    When I try this functionality with the "WPCubed Wordprocessor Demo" it
    works as intended. However, when I just create a TForm in Embarcadero
    with a TWPRichText, DNS cannot use that RichText control.

    I don't know the requirements for this to work, but somehow the demo
    must be doing something different regarding windows accessibility.

    Do you know what's missing in my wptools application?

    Yes, I implemented some basic support for speech recognition. It requires that the speech recognition software sends its messages to the TWPRichText control. Only if messages are sent, they can be interpreted.
