I'm trying to install a demo version on Delphi 6. But when I compile WPTools7_D6.dpk I'm getting the erro [Fatal Error] WPTools_Reg.pas(52): Unit WPRTEReport was compiled with a different version of WPEval.TWPCustomEvalEngine.
I already removed previous versions of WPTools
Please disable the $DEFINE WPREPORT in WPINC.INC which is inside the {$IFDEF WPDEMO}
do I have to remove $DEFINE WPREPORT from the {$IFDEF WPDEMO}?
I did that, and didn't work
I also have this one "[Error] WPTools_Reg.pas(1270): Undeclared identifier: 'TDataSet'". In this case I added the uses "DB".
I wanted to try it our here but unfortunately my D6 has decided to not work for me again. I contacted embarcadero.
It is possible that your and my D6 has different upgrade level. Do you have a different Delphi also?

I have Delphi 10 Seattle. But Ii dosen't have to download.
With help of Embarcadero I was now able to start Delphi 6 again.
I also had to add DB in WPTools_Reg.pas:

{$IFDEF DELPHIXE}
, Data.DB
{$ELSE}
, DB
{$ENDIF}
{$ENDIF}
But after this small change the demo package was built and installed.
I do not support Delphi 10.0 in the demo and standard version (In PRO no problem) so the old demo is not listed anymore.

When you decide WPTools is for you, you will need the PRO version for Delphi 10.0 Seattle. BTW - when you order now, this also includes WPTools 9.2.

I don't know why this happens on your system, here it does not. But you can disable WPREPORTER in WPINC.INC
