I have sent the e-mail...
thanks!
Unfortunately the options don't help in my case.
Can I possibly download a demo version of wpdf5 and test it with me? I saw that the website currently only has the demo for version 4.
Thank you for the hints.
I tried the following settings:
CidFontMode := wpCIDUnicode;
FontMode := wpEmbedType3 / wpEmbedCIDFonts / wpEmbedTrueTypeFonts;
With Type3 I have also added the fonts I use to the font list.
Type3Fonts.Add('Arial');
Type3Fonts.Add('Arial MT');
Type3Fonts.Add('Arial Unicode MS');
Type3Fonts.Add('Arial BoldMT');
Type3Fonts.Add('Verdana');
Unfortunately I haven't had any success with it.
I see that the PDF files become relatively large with the settings. Therefore I assume that the fonts are included.
When I look at the properties of the PDF in Acrobat Reader, I see that the encoding of the individual fonts used is always "user-defined".
For PDFs created with other programs, "ANSI" or "Supplied" is there, for example. So I guess that's where the problem lies.
But where can you set the encoding?
What am I doing wrong?
Hi,
we use wPDF 4 (from 02/23/2022) with Delphi 10.4.
Special characters are not correctly adopted in PDFs created with wPDF.
For example, this is one of the characters: ■
https://www.compart.com/de/unicode/U+25A0
In the PDF, this character is then displayed like this: ¦
Which wPDF configuration may still need to be adjusted?
Thank you in advance for your help
Regards,
Christian
