  • Delphi 10.4 and WPTools FMX

    I know its only just released but do you have an estimate when WPTools FMX can be used with Delphi 10.4 ?

    I am also waiting for TMS components to release their updates so not immediately holding anything up. I have installed both 10.3 and 10.4 and will switch when all components are available for 10.4

    They have removed the horrible ARC memory management so maybe you can look at that iPad version now.

    Latest version of WPTools FMX looking very good. Symbol fonts working great, my RTF tables loading the same as my original VCL version. I have switched my Mac product over to WPTools and it has been released to customers for a few weeks.

  • WPTools FMX: WPRichtext - ViewOptions

    I switched to legacy mode and the CR now shows.

    Any chance you can add spaces and tabs to the legacy mode if that's easier ?

    I found the legacy mode has better positioning of the text cursor. The standard mode does not have correct positioning when text is not left aligned in a table cell. My product uses a lot of center aligned text and its difficult to know where the cursor is.

    Are there any disadvantages to legacy mode ? It seems good.

  • WPTools FMX: WPRichtext - ViewOptions

    I am trying to show spaces in order to help customers who cannot understand why their tables are not aligning correctly - they have spaces in front of images).

    I am using:

    wprichtext1.ViewOptions:=wprichtext1.ViewOptions + [wpshowspc]

    But nothing seems to change.

    wpdrawpagemarginlines seems to work.

    wpshowCR, wpshowTAB also not working

  • POLL - who needs WPTools FMX (firemonkey)

    The link you posted gives access denied even when logged in and there is no visible forum for fmx so maybe that is why there are no takers. I have had a need for firemonkey word processor for years as most development is now cross platform and not VCL. Your competitors don't do proper rtf tables and printing was all wrong so I am using a very poor but working one I wrote myself. Money waiting for a better one which I'm sure yours would be ...

  • Problem with goto searched text

    Using wpviewpdf dated 30 March

    I can search for text and highlight the results but cannot jump to the page. I have tried commandex(253,0) and (253,1) but nothing happens. Help specifies 1 for both go and dont go.

    Using the demo exe (dated last year) on the same file and search text works.
