Description
The footnote support in WPTools Standard is normally used to include text variables in the text. They are not printed - this is a feature is included in the WPTools edition "Premium".
Fotnote are saved as TWPTextObj objects with WobjTyp=wpobjFootnote. The name of the object is used to locate the formatted text which is connected to this footnote (only Premium edition). The text is a TWPRTFDataBlock (one element in WPRichText.HeaderFooter) with Kind=wpIsFootnote, Range=wpraOnAllPage and Name=name_of_footnote.
The procedure InputFootnote can be used to quickly insert a footnote object and the data block. The cursor is then placed into this block so the user can start typing or the InputString can be used.
