Auto capitalize after a period?

Is there an option I've missed or could I request this as a feature enhancement concerning having it automatically capitalize the first char of a word that follows a period. Word is a good example of the functionality I'm looking for in that regard. In Word, it will also change it back to lowercase if you backspace and it stops trying to uppercase it again until the next period is entered.

You can do something like this in the event BeforeInitializePar - I personally find this behaviour in Word most annoying, especially but not only when you use abbreviations.

I agree with you, I also find it annoying. However, I told my customers that have asked for this that I would at least see if this was possible. Thankfully not too many have asked for it :)
