ps: by the way - i can't use the del key when using wptools5. Also when clicking behind the end of a line, the cursor is placed in front of the last char and not at the end of the line. im pretty sure that there is an easy trick available to avoid this behavior....

yep - it works!
i got another message concerning an init call - I've removed the last zero
and it compiles now as usual....
the new rulers are working great - i like that new style - removing a tabstop by dragging it out the ruler is fine ....

I've tried to compile the new version several minutes ago and i got the following messages:
[Warnung] WPRteDefs.pas(50): *** Compiling WPRTEDefs with Debug Information
[Fehler] WPRteDefs.pas(14559): Undefinierter Bezeichner: 'colcount'
[Fataler Fehler] WPTools_Reg.pas(24): Verwendete Unit 'WPRteDefs.pas' kann nicht compiliert werden

hatte bereits vor dem reply die 5er installiert.
noch ein paar weitere fragen:
funktionieren die rulers bereits?
der vertikal ruler zeigt keine ober / untergrenze an und der
horizontale ruler übernimmt manche einstellung erst nachdem man diesen anclickt. Gibts hierfür eine refresh/update routine?
(hab leider zuviel an arbeit momentan, um tiefer den code zu durchforsten)
ich möchte meine eigenen toolbars / icons verwenden.
wie ich gesehen habe, sind in der wptoolbar uses list die units WPActnStr, WPAction angeführt. Im WP4 Manual ist ein Demo angegeben (WpNNotepad oder so) , das in der 5er version nicht vorkommt.
ich muss dazu sagen, dass ich bisher keine ActionLists verwendet habe und daher eine kleine hilfestellung absolut hilfreich wäre!

Hallo,
ich habe vor einigen Tagen WPTools in der Pro Version geordert und stehe
nun vor der Entscheidung, WPTools 5 oder 4 einzusetzen.
Ich verwende die Tools als Replacement von TRichView.
Ich werde Winword Dokumente zumindest importieren müssen.
Die Fähigkeit Felder aus Tabellen zu lesen muss gegeben sein.
Welche Features aus 4.x sind in 5.x noch nicht implementiert?
Weiters noch folgende Fragen:
gibt es
- einen Fast-Report Wrapper?
- ein deutsches Manual?
PdfViewer:
- läuft dieser auch ohne Dll?
