Hi all,
Is it possible to supply password protection and encryption to an existing pdf file using the wPDF dll?
Is there some example code for this?. Can this example in anyway be done using .NET?
Best regards

Hi,
sorry, our product which should do this is not yet available.
Julian
wPDF is only designed to create a PDF file, not to read and manipulate.
We have a SDK which does it - but that SDK is only using in WPViewPDF and also privately used.

Hi,
I've tried to create a new pdf using an existing pdf as the InputFile (with pwAppendToInput as the InputfileMode), then set the password/encryption options on this new document.
However the pages of the resulting document are all blank (though the number and orientation of the pages is all correct).
Is this the expected behaviour?
Can you suggest a method or product that will allow me to do this?
Thanks!
Hi,
wPDF is a PDF creation tool, mainly based on a powerful EMF to PDF conversion engine. wPDF is not able to protect an existing PDF file or append to a protected PDF file.
