XSL-FO Support

    Hello,

    Are there any plans for XSL-FO support for TextDynamic as an input/output type (similar to how you can switch between RTF/HTML/ANSI, etc). We are interested in having our client store documents in this fashion to be later printed on-demand by a server using a FOP engine and would preer not to have to convert from RTF->FO as an extra step.

    Hi,

    XSL, XSL-FO is currently not planned.

    But there will be XML support with the 'server' license. That will allow load&save in a XML conform format - although the document has to be simplified. Reason: The formating capabilities of TextDynamic go a bit beyond what makes sense in XML (15 attributes for each char, ca 100 attributes for paragraph + attached styles)

    We are open for suggestions in this area. Custom made file format is also possible.

    Thanks Julian, knowing that you are looking to support some kind of XML format will help us make decision on the word processor tool we choose.
