For use with C++Builder I recommend to use WPTools Professional. There the addional GetFontName can be removed by using the compiler symbol BCBXE.
Currently this is set by
{$IFDEF BCB} {$DEFINE BCBXE} {$ENDIF}
9.3.9.3 with RAD 12.3 C++ WPRTEDefs.hpp compilation issue
Indeed it does, however You can find that in C++ its the same System::UnicodeString == System::Uitypes::TFontName and that cause an issue for the compiler
I checked that line in the HPP created by the current WPTools 9.4 and it reads:
bool __fastcall GetFontName(System::UnicodeString &FontName)/ overload /;
bool __fastcall GetFontName(System::Uitypes::TFontName &FontName)/ overload /;
Hi,
Recently trying to compile project (any, including c++ demo from ~WPTools\Demos\H) C++\XE) with
WP version 9.3.9.3.
RAD studio 12.3 with C++.
When compiler process WPRTEDefs.hpp unit it encounters error:
[bcc32 Error] WPRTEDefs.hpp(1735): E2238 Multiple declaration for '_fastcall TWPAbstractCharAttrInterface::GetFontName(UnicodeString &)'
Full parser context
Unit2.cpp(6): #include Unit2.h
Unit2.h(10): #include myradstudiodir\WPTools\DXII\WPCTRMemo.hpp
WPCTRMemo.hpp(36): #include myradstudiodir\WPTools\DXII\WPRTEDefs.hpp
WPRTEDefs.hpp(37): namespace Wprtedefs
WPRTEDefs.hpp(1683): class TWPAbstractCharAttrInterface
[bcc32 Error] WPRTEDefs.hpp(1734): E2344 Earlier declaration of '_fastcall TWPAbstractCharAttrInterface::GetFontName(UnicodeString &)'
Full parser context
Unit2.cpp(6): #include Unit2.h
Unit2.h(10): #include myradstudiodir\WPTools\DXII\WPCTRMemo.hpp
WPCTRMemo.hpp(36): #include myradstudiodir\WPTools\DXII\WPRTEDefs.hpp
WPRTEDefs.hpp(37): namespace Wprtedefs
WPRTEDefs.hpp(1683): class TWPAbstractCharAttrInterface
WPRTEDefs.pas is not available and just modifying hpp is not an option due to obj linking issue later on.
Kindly help me solving that issue.
Regards
