I sincerely regret my error. It is not replacing spacebars with CRs.
The Column width is reduced in a table cell using TParagraph and LoadFromFile with an RTF file generated by the WPTools.
We have a composite document. One element of this is a file for comments optionally added by the user. All interactions are captive, that is, we collect the text content as RTF with WPTools controls.
The RTF file is fine as generated, when viewed with the controls and when viewed with WordPad and Word.
That same file is loaded with LoadFromFile and Saved and the column width containing those interstitial comments is reduced from 8 inches to 1/2 inch (making it appear that spaces are replaced with Returns). There is an element of the existing table which is already 1/2 inch and I'm wondering if it is inheriting that width incorrectly.
This Width of Column change has only been caught happening with RTF generator version 5.370. When we get back to generator 5.210 the formatting is correct.
Curiously, when I upgrade to version 5.44, this embedded version number only goes up to 5.37. Is that expected and correct?
