How to insert an image...

Hello everyone!

I am working with WP Tools 5, my object a TWPRichText component have been working without problems. Now I need to add the menuitem, where a user can choose and insert an image (PDF or JPG).

This image should be inserted at the "cursor position" and movable with <ENTER> or <SPACE>, but nor resizable. And my program already inserts an image, but I cannot see it.

I have been reading the WPTools guide and there are many ways to insert an image, but I still have problems.

Any hint or help will be wellcomed!

Hi,

You can insert an JPEG image but not a PDF. If you use an PNG library as described in unit wpobj_image.pas You can insert a PNG.

I suggest to start with

WPRichText1.InsertGraphicDialog

I just made a mistake in my first text ... I am not going to paste a PDF file for sure, but a JPG (or a PNG) one.
