Image in a WPRichText

Why do an attached image in a WPRichText is shown with loss of quality? What is the possible solution to keep the original image quality?

the problem is the scaling.

You can select the Screen resolution in FormatOptions. If you do not have to print this may improve the display quality when viewed at 100%.

The image itself is never modified.

The image is in wpRichText of different size of the real (cm), why?

real (cm)

There are no "Real cm" on screen. All is scaled according to dpi. Some monitors have a dpi valöue which does not correspond to the actual size of a pixel, you see a shrinked or enlaged image.

The image size is specified in twips. This is 1/1440 of an inch which is 1/(1400/2.54) of a cm.
