Issues printing labels with barcode and texts

We have a licensed version of the WPViewPDF 3 and we integrated it with delphi 7 in an old application.
We use it mostly for printing purposes.
We have some issues printing labels with barcode and texts with some pdfs.
We can reproduce the issue also using the demo tool (PDFView.exe).
Selecting GDI-Plus the text and barcode are printed, but the barcode is blurry and unreadable.
If we select GDI_standard, then the barcode is readable but no text is printed.
We tried with different settings: disableantialias, modifying the scaling but the problem persists.
