MarginMirror is working wrongly

Hi,

When I set MarginMirror to True, the first page is printed mirrored and the second page is printed normally; MarginMirror functionality must be exactly the other way arround; I mean, ODD pages must be printed with normal margins, and EVEN pages must be printed with mirrored margins.

Is there a switch to change this behavior to work in the right way?

Hi,

WPTools 6.20 solves a problem with mirror page routine.

Only if wpMarginMirrorBookPrint in FormatOptionsEx2 was used, the first page will be handled as font page of a book.

Julian

I have a similar problem with WPTool 6 for D2010, not sure about the build number but there is no wpMarginMirrorBookPrint property in FormatOptionsEx2.

I've made a global search on my source text *.pas files and didn't find wpMarginMirrorBookPrint there as well.

How to make mirror margin settings to work normally?

wpMarginMirrorBookPrint was added in a later V6, 13.6.2010 - WPTools 6.12

That's good, but what I should do now, with my current version?
Is this is a bug that cannot be fixed without updating a whole package?

You didn't tell which version you are actually using.

In case you have the PRO version you can change the code yourself,

in WPRTEDefs.pas

if (FDataCollection.Header.MarginMirror) and ((startprop.pagenr and 1)
{$IFDEF WP6}//<WP6
= Ord(not (wpMarginMirrorBookPrint in FDataCollection.FormatOptionsEx2))
{$ELSE}//>WP6
=0
{$ENDIF}//=WP6
) then
DataRef.h := rtfdataobj.ReformatSpecial(

and later:

mirror := FSectionProps.MarginMirror;

domirror := (pnr and 1)
{$IFDEF WP6}//<WP6
= Ord(not (wpMarginMirrorBookPrint in FDataCollection.FormatOptionsEx2))
{$ELSE}//>WP6
=0
{$ENDIF}//=WP6
;
