Need Help. Cannot change font and style

Hi all

I am new to wptools. When I drop a TWPRichtext & TWPToolBar to a new form, and set WPToolBar1.WPToolBar = WPToolBar1. Then complie and run the application. I found that I cannot change the font for the text I selected using the toolbar. Did I miss something?? Please help.

I am using D7 Ent, WPTools 5.202, XP PRO SP2.

WPToolBar1.WPToolBar = WPToolBar1

It must be WPRichText1.WPToolBar = WPToolBar1. If you assign a toolbar to the toolbar this means to create a chain of toolbars.

Sorry, I mistyped. I really mean WPRichText1.WPToolBar = WPToolBar1. The problem exist when the setting is WPRichText1.WPToolBar = WPToolBar1. I just cannot change the font for the text that I highlighted using the toolbar font combobox. Any ideas?

it really should work - maybe the text is readonly?

it works for the saved text only. if I type something new, then highlight the text and change its font name, I can't change it. but strange that it works for some fonts such as Wingdings. any idea?

What is your user local charset ?

If wingdings works, other fonts don't I can only assume this has to do with charsets.

it is traditional chinese Big5

sometimes the font list in the combo box mess up too, ie they are not listed in order.
