Julian,
I would like to enter the page number of the footnote, but I have a section (broken section), the same way that you can no word, allowing start of page 5, for example, and choose the number that will start.
You can do this in wptools?

Hi,
Currently I do not know a possibility to know the page a footnote was used. I assume zou want to create a reference list?
With sections it is even more complicated. I suggest to use the latest WPTools 5 - there a fix has been inckluded to improve the nunmbering of section pages. But zou need to add the REstartPageNumbder flag for the section properties.

Julian,
I am using an event to start numbering starting on page x or y.
But somewhere must save the page number that starts the numbering.
Is there any variable of RTF I can do that? How?
Tks
Event:
procedure TfrmEditor.wprtEditorTextObjGetTextEx(RefCanvas: TCanvas;
TXTObject: TWPTextObj; var PrintString: WideString; var WidthInPix,
HeightInPix: Integer; var PaintObject: TWPTextObj; Xres, YRes: Integer);
var
_rPagina: integer;
begin
if _gPaginaAtual <> 0 then
begin
if TXTObject.Name = 'PAGE' then
begin
_rPagina := TXTObject.ParentRTFPage;
if (_rPagina + 1)< _gPaginaAtual then
PrintString := ''
else
PrintString := IntToStr (_rPagina - _gPaginaAtual + 2);
end;
end;
end;
Hi,
Yes, you can use an RTFVariable for this. Simply choose a name (invent one)
See [](http://www.wpcubed.com/manuals/wptools5/idh_cat_store_custom_information.htm)
Julian,
It worked perfectly the variable, but I have one more question.
I use the event wprtEditorTextObjGetTextEx, to show the page that starts the numbering, but when I realized the supermerge not view the document, so it is not done the event.
Is there an alternative?
Tks
Hi,
those objects are not handled by supermerge, only the merge fields are. So you need to add a clever event handler to the destination TWPRichText to show the page number. The handler is called for each paint operation!
