Please download the latest build of WPViewPDF - it will ignore the flag for 40bit encrypted files just as Acrobat does.

Hi, i have set the security to 128 bit :

WPPDFExport.Security:=wpp128bit;

Now, the print with TWpViewPdf version 3 is of high quality.

For the old pdf documents with 40-bit security how do I print in high quality with WpViewPdf version 3?

Why does Adobe handle them properly when printing?

Thanks for your support

You should set the property Security to 128 bit

This is code to create PDF from TwpRichText

WPPDFExport.source:=wpRtf;
WPPDFExport.AutoLaunch := false;
WPPDFExport.FileName := 'c:\temp\file.pdf';
WPPDFExport.CompressStreamMethod := wpCompressFlate;
WPPDFExport.Encryption:=[ wpEncryptFile,wpEnablePrinting];
WPPDFExport.Print;

I don't use any flag to set low quality.

That file disables high quality printing in its security options, that's the P flag with the value 2048.

HI,

with version 3 when the printed document has a low resolution version 2 this problem was not present. Is there any setting to be done?

This image is a scan of the printed document with the version 3 and 2 (same pdf)
