Sometimes rendering of distances between words too small

Hi,

using WPTools 6.05.8:

a customer claims that on the screen, the word distance is sometimes too small (using "blocksatz" formatting, don't know the English term sorry).

They say that rendering of word spacing is worse compared to WPTools v5.

Any idea if / how to influence this setting? Or any explanation?

additional information: the problem also appears on printed texts, it's not just a screen rendering issue.

Hi,

the "Kerning" option should be active. You find that in property FormatOptionsEx2.

Unfortunaltely, the problem is not solved yet.

We have now used the following options:

• WP.Memo._WPT5TextOutMethod := True
• Kerning in FormatOptionsEx2

I should also mention, it's not only the distance between words is incorrect, but as well between digits in the same word.

E.G. the word "salödkaslökd" Font Arial Size 11 looks like 2 words
(salöd kaslökd).

Please any advice !
