WPTools and Lazarus

Is in WPTools roadmap some compatibility to Lazarus project ?
Lazarus project is getting very mature.

no, this is not on the road map. By the time it would be ready, I would also expect the CodeGear 64 bit compiler - and 64 bit support would be the only reason for this effort, I see.

2 years on and still no 64bit compiler or Linux support or OS/X support - just more promises. Perhaps lazarus is the way forward!

Isn't the licence for Lazarus a bit of a problem for a commercial component developer?

I don't think there is a problem with the Lazarus License. But the wptools 5 license does not allow the use with Lazarus / FreePascal.

We plan a special edition for Lazarus.

With the 64 bit version of Delphi there is no need for freepascal anymore so we do not service this code branch anymore.
