Delete row doesn't work if table row contains a merge field

Hi,

We are using the Delete Row toolbar icon to delete complete rows from tables. The editor has ppProtected and ppIsMergedText options on. Clicking the Delete Row icon works for rows with no merge fields, but does not work if there are merge fields. How can we make it work in both cases?

We are using WPTools version 5.30.1.

Hi,

If fields are protected the row cannot be deleted.

But you can add your own button and call

if wp.tableCell<>nil then
begin
wp.tableCell.ParentRow.DeleteParagraph;
wp.ReformatAll;
end;

to delete a row.
