Hi,
Did you check the ViewOptions - the default to
wpHideSelection, wpDisableMisspellMarkers, wpDontGrayHeaderFooterInLayout
You can remove wpHideSelection to see the selection.

Yes, I have wpHideSelection set to false but it still won't allow me to select. The rest of the ViewOptions are default like you indicate above.
I am using 5.47.5 (48))

Hi,
WPPreview is not intended for selections. I assume the text is not selected at first, WPPreview will only display existing selections.
If You need more editiing features You can always use a TWPRichTet instead of WPPreview. It can be readonly and it can work on the same text as a main TWPRichTetx. See demo Mini which shows how to do it. (Requires a main RTFData structure und an event to use it)
Also see SplitScreen feature.

They don't need any editing features, only to be able to select the text. I use this as a pop up style preview dialog, they aren't looking at the RTF, only the preview. Simple selection in the dialog would work best and saves adding another form. I'll have to find some other way to do it. Thanks
