I am not having any luck loading an open office .odt file type.
I have tried loadwithconverter and it gives the same result as loadfromfile with AUTO flag. It basically loads the file as ascii text showing all the encoding/escape code.
Loadfromfile with UNICODE flag gives me Chinese or something.
Help?

If the installed converters (which are MS DLLS) cannot convert the odt into RTF you cannot load them.

ok, how would I find those dlls?
I can load the file directly into word without problem, so they must exist on the system. -

They are loaded by unit WPWordConv.pas.
It depends on the system and installed applications (i.e. office) which DLLs are available. You may not distribute those DLLs.
