• Hi,

We are developing viewer for our document library. However, after purchasing last couple of week (version 2.61.1), we found out almost 1/5 of our document could not be render nicely.

The viewer cannot render background image (pdf created with InDesign), some of the text went missing and pdf created by MS Powerpoint 2010 have severe performance problem.

There is not much thing we can do now unless we really hope for the version 3, which I been inform that it has new rendering engine.

My question, is when the version 3 will come to reality? Anybody....

    Hi Khairil,

We exchanged a lot of emails and thanks for your example files. the WPViewPDF V3 engine is much more capable than V2. but it is not designed for PDF files which were created directly by InDesign directly. Those PDF files represent all the features that DTP programn is able to preform, that goes beyond the scope of WPViewPDF.

WPViewPDF V3 should have not major problems with files which came from tools such as wPDF or printer diver which convert metafile output. Such files do not contain shading, patterns and such.

We work hard on V3 but it taks a bit longer to implement most of the extra features V2 had. There will be a whole new stamping system.
Also stability has to be good. It does not make much sense to bring it out when things are missing
